And now the want is strong. I've seen other W126 wagon conversions, but this is the most natural looking. The SEC front clip doesn't look bad at all. I would, however, restore the original badging.
Yeah, it's an 80's tuner car (Zender 500 SE wagon) but LOOK AT IT!

AAAAaaannd I just realized that this car HAS the original badging, so one less thing to do.
I wonder how nicely a modern AMG drivetrain and suspension mods would work with it?

Wow. This is probably one of my favorite looking cars of all time. Give me one of these with the 5.6L V8 and I'd keep it until the day I die. Then I'd be buried in it.
